This past weekend we had a lovely visit from my mother and sister, who were so kind to bring with them fresh-picked Maine wild blueberries! This week I’ll be foraging for local Nantucket wild blueberries in a few of my secret spots, but having a large batch hand-delivered from off-island was a real treat. Iley adored having his gramma and auntie here for his 2nd birthday. These past 2 years have just flown by! This sweet boy of mine is growing and learning so quickly.
My sister, Meg Farrell, a crafter of vintage-inspired leather goods at Farrell & Co., and a talented photographer, took most of the photos in this post and shot video footage for a special Fare Isle project I’m working on. If you have a second, check out her Kickstarter campaign to fund the next step for Farrell & Co.~canvas and leather bags! Her pieces are hand-crafted beautifully and will last a lifetime. She’s offering nice discounts on her goods as pledge incentives so it’s a great opportunity to own one of these beauties at an affordable price. See pictures of the Nantucket Bag she designed especially for me further down this post.

Meg
