Since I started the Fare Isle blog my goal and purpose has always been to share seasonal healthy recipes and inspiration that I hope you, my reader, have and will continue find valuable and interesting. I love creating recipes and sharing them with you and value the time it takes me to develop a recipe, test it, and then make, style, photograph, edit and write it up for the blog. And believe me when I say hours and hours of work go into each and every post. So from time to time, I accept compensation for my work with brands in the form of advertising, sponsored posts and affiliate links. This helps me to keep on creating and sharing on the blog and also support my family. I do not consider this a detriment to my content and am always honest and upfront when working with a brand for compensation. I carefully choose what brands I work with based on my personal ethics and values and what I feel like will fit in well with my content and resonate with my readers and followers. Thoughts and opinions are always my own. Here is an overview of the types of compensation I receive.
Advertising
The ads on the Fare isle blog page are provided through different affiliate networks and google ads. Through the process of serving ads, cookies are used to collect information. If you’d like to learn more about the information collected, or opt-out of cookies entirely, please take a look at my Privacy Policy.
Sponsored Posts
Occasionally I will work with brands to feature there products in my recipes. I will always disclose when I receive compensation from a brand, and the brands will always fit in with my content and values. When I write a sponsored post I will always be honest about my feelings and all words and opinions are always my own. I do not accept products in exchange for a review.
Affiliate Programs
I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. This relationship allows me to receive a commission on sales I refer from my recipe blog and social media accounts. If you click on a link in any of my posts and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission on that sale. This does not in any way affect the price you pay for an item. Of course I am delighted when a referral link from my site results in a small commission, but please note that you are in no way obligated to purchase an item through my referral. If you’d rather not use my referral link, then simply open a new browser window or tab and search for the item directly on amazon.
