Ingredients

  • 2 cups loosely packed fresh or dried rose petals

  • 1 cups granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Place rose petals into a clean quart sized jar. Boil water and pour over rose petals. Cover jar and steep overnight at room temperature for most concentrated flavor and color.
  • Strain rose infusion into a saucepan, pressing out all of the liquid from petals. Add sugar and bring to boil to dissolve. Remove from heat and pour into a clean bottle or jar and cover. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
