We’ve gotten so much love for our garden insta stories (thank you!) so I thought I’d share a mid-July garden update here. We’re in the very lush and green stage of things. Harvesting cukes and heirloom patty pan squash daily. We have baby pumpkins and tomatoes and the corn is flowering. Lots of edible flowers in bloom including nasturtiums, malva, borage, bachelor’s buttons, violas, and California poppies. Our baby fruit trees and berries are looking good! Excited for what’s to to come 🙌🏼🌼🐝✨🌿🌽🍃🌳🍇🍒🍑🍎🥕🥒🍆🥔🥦🍠🧄🧅🍅🍅🍅

I’m a little (a lot) behind on posting my elderflower syrup recipe ✨🌿😆 Hoping to to finish it up and post it on the blog today. But it’s basically the same as my rose syrup except with edlerflowers of course and more lemon. 🍋 Elderflower season is coming to and end here now and the flowers are starting to turn into elderberries - but hopefully you can still forage or pick some blooms in your area. I should do an elderberry syrup recipe this fall for immune system support. 💜 Love this special healing plant!

Recipe:
Grilled Creamer Potato, Onion and Rosemary Skewers
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 12 minutes
Cook Time: 24 minutes

Grilled Creamer Potato, Onion and Rosemary Skewers are an easy and delicious side dish to
make right on the grill. Pair them with grilled salmon, chicken or steak for the perfect summer
alfresco meal.

Ingredients:
1.5 lb bag The Little Potato Company Dynamic Duo bagged potatoes
1 large red onion
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Method:
1. Preheat your grill or you can also roast them in the oven at 425˚F.
2. Add Creamer potatoes to a 4 quart saucepan and cover them with about 2 inches of cold
water. Bring the pot to a rolling boil and parboil potatoes for 4 minutes. Drain and cool potatoes
for about 10 minutes before handling them.
3. Meanwhile peel and chop the onion into large chunks, about 1” pieces.
4. Add parboiled potatoes and chopped onion to a large bowl and toss them in the olive oil,
minced rosemary, salt and pepper.
5. Skewer the potatoes and onions.
